As a coalition advocating for the working landscapes and lifestyles of the American West, WLA is working to stop the environmental lawsuit gravy train that is destroying an American way of life. WLA is funding legal research into non-profits that use Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA) dollars (our tax dollars!) to finance environmental litigation.

Our goal is to expose the current abuse of EAJA and use media, the courts and political strategies to call for reform.
